After successfully establishing their first store just a year prior, MD Jewellers were presented with an exciting opportunity to expand their presence by acquiring the premises of a retiring jeweller within the town. While the location was ideal, the shop itself was in severe disrepair—demanding extensive renovations to bring it up to the high standards necessary to attract the clientele the owners envisioned.

The brief was clear: to craft a contemporary store that retained subtle nods to the building’s original character. To achieve this, we incorporated exposed brickwork—adding a textured contrast that pays homage to the store’s heritage while maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic. Beyond aesthetics, security and functionality were key considerations. We installed internal electric shutters, providing additional protection without compromising the store’s visual appeal, while the window display cabinets were designed to be movable on wheels, allowing them to be effortlessly withdrawn from the windows at night for added security.

The transformation extended beyond structural enhancements. We installed engineered oak flooring, adding warmth and sophistication to the retail space, while ensuring durability for years to come. A state-of-the-art air conditioning system was integrated to enhance customer comfort. We also designed a dedicated VIP room, offering an exclusive and intimate space for high-value clientele. To ensure compliance with modern standards, we upgraded all electrical installations, meeting the latest industry regulations and optimizing the store’s lighting and operational efficiency.
