A Transformational Retail Space in Andover’s Chantry Centre

Having identified the ideal location for their new store in Andover’s Chantry Centre, David and his family set out to breathe new life into a former Carphone Warehouse unit. The premises spanned two floors, though only the ground level had undergone any finishing work—leaving the upper floor untouched and presenting a unique opportunity for transformation.

From the moment we stepped onto the site, the goal was clear: to turn an empty shell into a sleek, contemporary retail space that perfectly aligned with the family’s vision. Working in close collaboration, David and his team outlined the design concept, aesthetic preferences, and functional needs—allowing us to bring their ideas to life with precision and craftsmanship.

In just 14 days, the transformation was complete. What began as a stark, unfinished interior evolved into a modern, welcoming, and highly functional retail environment. The ground floor, now boasting a fresh, open-plan design, serves as an inviting showcase for the brand’s collections. Meanwhile, the upper floor—which initially consisted of bare walls, no ceiling, and a concrete block floor—was successfully repurposed into a dedicated office and workshop space. Prior to renovations, visitors could see directly into the lower level from above; today, the space is structured for optimal privacy, efficiency, and usability.

With careful attention to detail, strategic planning, and expert craftsmanship, the result is a refined, contemporary retail destination that offers both style and functionality.
