A Bold & Contemporary Retail Concept in Eastleigh, Hampshire

It was a true privilege to collaborate once again with the Mellor family on this exciting retail project in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Their vision was clear—to create a contemporary, visually striking store that resonates with a young, female demographic, while incorporating subtle elements of masculinity to achieve a balanced aesthetic.

To bring their concept to life, we curated a design that seamlessly blends fluid, swooping lines across the backwall, floor, and ceiling, enhancing the spatial flow and creating an elegant, welcoming environment. This was complemented by hexagonal and right-angle geometric elements incorporated into the unitary, reinforcing the balance of both feminine and masculine aesthetics.

A key priority for the family was the introduction of a carefully curated colour palette, inspired by a mix of online collateral. Through a meticulous selection process, we refined and pinpointed the ideal hues, materials, and finishes—ultimately crafting an interior concept that is bold, edgy, youthful, yet undeniably sophisticated. Moving away from traditional jewellery store conventions, the design ensures a distinctive and memorable shopping experience while capturing the attention of passing footfall within the shopping centre.

Lighting played an integral role in the transformation, and our precision-engineered lighting solutions contribute to the perfect ambience across the shop floor, consultation areas, and window displays—enhancing the store’s visual impact and customer engagement.

Since its completion, the store has garnered immense positive feedback—receiving overwhelming love, admiration, and engagement both in-store and across social media platforms. The Mellor family’s vision has truly come to life, and we are incredibly proud to have played a part in delivering such a dynamic, forward-thinking retail space.
